thank you very much for this very good program, it makes GCzII useful again...

But, there is a problem on three PCs in the office:
GCzII Cachelist Downloader will not run on these XP systems, just show up for less than one second and disappears, sometimes nothing can be seen. It also will only show up in task manager for one second.

No message is displayed, nothing.

My office PC has .NET 4, two others .NET 3.5. On an old Win2000 virtual machine it asked for .NET 2, installed it and just the same: Will not run and will not show any message...

I tried all versions from the latest 4351 back to 4300 and finally the 4300 was running on all three systems, all newer ones with the same error.

My office PC has Symantec Endpoint Protection running, the two others are test systems with no security software, since a clean XP system will be loaded from an image before every test.

BUT:
At home, also XP with .NET 3.5, the latest 4351 will run without any problem.
But, at home I have a very poor internet connection and loading just only 40 caches takes about two hours. Therefor I normally use the fast web in the office...

Any idea how get GCzII Cachelist Downloader running in the office?

experiencing a similar issue on (a Slovak language) Win XP SP3 system with an Intel Atom:

After launching the exe, the appliaćation draws the window, but crashes immediately, before giving any chance for user interaction. The crash comes before the saving of the config file (so, in the folder, there are just the three unpacked files).

Below, I am attaching the info from the Windows Crash Report (in hope that it might help track down the issue).

I have also tried various things like older application versions, letting WindowsUpdate update .NET, other folders, switching off Antivirus, ... But no luck. Unlike jenserl, being currently on journey with plus with a borrowed netbook - unfortunatley - I cannot afford to try reinstalling the operating system...

Anyway, back home I have used this useful application without any issues on a few Win XP SP2 and Win 7 machines.

Would be happy if this was a trivial issue, which could be resolved while still on our geotrip... BTW the PMO error in GCz Tool makes the downloads of larger lists with this tool also awkward...

Is it classic Windows' crash with "Don't send" button? Then I really don't know where is problem. I can't really describe what's wrong from this Crash Report. If it was program error, it would display C# error message with "Continue" button.
I'll try to think about it, but... I don't really have idea what's wrong right now.
